Typical laptop complaints

Studying or working without a laptop isn't an option. These are the problems we see most.

  • Won't boot or shuts down

A black screen, a boot loop, or a laptop that simply gives up mid-task.

  • Broken or flickering screen

After a drop, a knock — or a pen left between screen and keyboard.

  • Battery or charger trouble

Only works plugged in, or won't charge at all any more.

  • Keyboard or trackpad not responding

A few dead keys, or liquid spilled over the keyboard.

  • Gotten slow

Everything takes minutes instead of seconds. We'll find out where it sits.

02Repairs

  • Battery and charging issues

A new battery, or the charging problem traced to its cause.

  • Keyboard

Replacement for dead keys or liquid damage.

  • Won't boot

Diagnosis from the power supply to the boot problem.

  • Mainboard & microsoldering

Liquid damage or no power: board-level repair — MacBooks included. The kind of work other shops refer elsewhere.

03The process

How a repair works

  1. Drop by or request online

No appointment needed, Tue–Sat from 10:00 to 18:00. Calling or filling in the form works too.

  2. Diagnosis and quote

We examine your device and you get a price first. You decide.

  3. Repair and test

After the repair we test everything. We'll let you know as soon as it's ready.

What does a laptop repair cost?

It depends on the brand, model and problem. You get a diagnosis and a clear quote first — we only repair after your go-ahead. Even if your laptop is getting on a bit, you'll hear honestly whether repairing is still worth it.

04Questions

Frequently asked questions about laptop repair

Do I need an appointment?

No. Just walk in during opening hours, Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00.

I spilled liquid on my laptop — now what?

Switch it off immediately, unplug the charger and bring it in as soon as you can. The sooner the board is cleaned, the better the odds.

Will my files stay on it?

With most repairs, yes. Make a backup beforehand if you can; if that's no longer possible, we'll discuss the options.

Do you repair MacBooks too?

Yes — including at mainboard level, with microsoldering. Exactly the kind of work many shops refer elsewhere.
