01The process

How a repair works

  1. Get in touch or drop by

Walk in during opening hours, call the shop, or describe the problem in the form.

  2. Diagnosis and quote

We examine your device. You get a diagnosis and a quote first. You decide whether we repair.

  3. Repair, test and pick-up

If you agree, we repair and test your device. We'll let you know as soon as it's ready.

02Why here

Why Volt Repair Shop

Handing over your device is a matter of trust. That's why there's no chain and no call centre — just an independent repair shop in the heart of Leuven.

  • You talk to the repairer directly

The person who takes in your device also runs the diagnosis and does the repair.

  • An honest diagnosis

If a repair doesn't make economic sense, we'll say so.

  • A clear price before we start

You get a quote first. No surprises afterwards.

  • Beyond screens and batteries

Mainboard problems and microsoldering too — repairs other shops refer elsewhere.

  • Right on Diestsestraat

Open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 18:00 — no appointment needed.

04Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an appointment?

No. Just walk in during opening hours, Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00. Calling first or requesting online works too, of course.

Who works on my device?

You hand your device to the person who actually repairs it, with more than ten years of experience. Other repair shops send their complex mainboard repairs here, too.

How long does a repair take?

It depends on the device and the problem. With the diagnosis you get a realistic estimate of timing and cost.

Do I get a price first?

Yes, always. You get a diagnosis and a quote first. You decide whether we repair.

How can I pay?

Payment is made after the repair, when you collect your device. You can pay in cash or via Bancontact Pay (QR code, formerly Payconiq).

What about data recovery?

Data recovery is always an attempt, never a guarantee. We discuss upfront what's realistic, and you decide whether we go ahead.

What about water damage?

Switch your device off and come by as soon as you can for a water-damage inspection. Keep in mind: after water damage, no device is ever guaranteed waterproof again.

Is repairing always worth it?

No — and we'll tell you honestly. If a repair doesn't make economic sense, you'll hear it at the diagnosis, and you decide what happens.

05Request

Request a repair

Briefly describe your device and the problem. We'll look at your request and get back to you.

Enter at least a phone number or an e-mail address.

We handle requests during opening hours. A basic diagnosis is free, and you always receive a quote first.

You can also e-mail us directly: info@voltrepair.be.

Only when technically necessary—for example, for severe faults or data recovery—may we ask for an access code. We keep it only as long as needed and delete it as soon as the repair is completed.

We only use your details to handle your request — see our privacy policy.
